A family that runs its own looms
Shree Chamunda Textiles is a grey fabric weaving unit in Surat, founded by Chinubhai Patel and run by his family.
Our story
Chinubhai Patel started the unit in [YEAR_FOUNDED]. [HOW_IT_STARTED – a few sentences from the family: where Chinubhai worked before, why he started weaving, the first looms.]
[HOW_IT_GREW – how the unit grew to 24 shuttle looms and added TFO twisting, winding and warping in-house.]
Today the family runs the looms day to day and sells grey cloth in the Surat market. We are now working directly with more buyers outside Surat as well.
